DM90 key input

press menu/others/bisskey
enter channel SID in first four line leaving the last two digit to 00 or 1F then input key then exit to save.
the rule is the first Channel SID to be recognized will be the one to use by the cam so delete duplicate unwanted keys.
you can save upto 30 keys. if not then flash your DM with new firmware.

Flashing Dreambox tru Telnet

have your dreambox flash with new image. in a flash, super fast :D

* backup your image and all settings and parameters by issuing a command in telnet using DCC.

cat /dev/mtd/3 > /tmp/backup.img

then hit enter. go to /tmp folder and save backup.img to a safe location.

*delete the backup.img from /tmp. then ftp new image to /tmp and rename it backup.img

and issue telnet command

cd /tmp && eraseall /dev/mtd/3 && cp backup.img /dev/mtd/3 && reboot

hit enter.

*dont take coffee because no time to wait. you have new image in a flash!

DISH ROTATOR WITH DIY C/KU LNB

Digipower dish rotator with my DIY c/ku lnb. split tru tone switch.
As of the moment it is working with asiasat5 c/ku, asiasat3C, telkom1, nss11, palapaC2, koreasat5, ST1, nss6, intelsat8, ge23, abs5 c/ku. Outdoor channel signal quality is 78% on c-band.
